Coming by road and air
 
The nearest airport is Inverness, 60 miles away.  Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are roughly 120 miles away each.
 
The road journey, like the train, is through some of the UK's most spectactular scenery.  Tulloch is on the A86 to Fort William and easily accessed from anywhere in Scotland.
 
Scottish Citylink buses run to Fort William and Spean Bridge from Glasgow, Inverness and Oban.

Both cottages are 200 yards from tiny Tulloch station on the West Highland Line to Fort William.
 
Sleeper
An overnight sleeper train leaves London Euston every night (except Saturday) at around 9pm and arrives in Tulloch, on the route to Fort William, at 9 am the following morning.  Trains run back south every night except Saturday.  Visitors coming from the North West of England can pick up the sleeper at Crewe.  Contact Caledonian Sleeper for details.
 
Daytime train services
A Scotrail direct service from Edinburgh and Glasgow runs four times daily to Tulloch on the way to Fort William.
 
Getting Around
 
Low carbon holiday? Armed with a good pair of boots and outdoor gear you could explore the area around Tulloch using only public transport.  Trains run four to five times a day up and down the West Highland Line, connecting Tulloch to nearby villages and towns.  Train times can be found on the First Scotrail website.
 
Car Hire
